Reading a donor's full giving history

Click anyone in the people rail (in Donor Relations → People) and their profile opens as its own tab, with everything your campaign knows about that person. Two minutes here before a call is the difference between "hi, we're fundraising" and "last year you gave $500 — this year we're hoping you'll consider $750."

The header: who they are

The top of the profile shows the person's name, email, phone, and city — a person can carry more than one phone and email, and you can add or correct numbers right here — plus a row of chips:

  • A capacity band from the Gift Pyramid (for example, $1K–5K).
  • A trend chip: New, Upgrading, Stable, Declining, Returning, or Lapsed — how their most recent giving compares to before.
  • Source chips: From sheets, Imported, and/or Live donor — which records were merged into this profile.

The money row

Three tiles answer the only three questions that matter before an ask:

  • Suggested Ask — the amount to ask for, with a one-line explanation of how it was computed (or "set manually" if you've overridden it).
  • This Year — what they've given to this campaign so far.
  • Lifetime — their total giving across every year on record.

Below, a call-priority score out of 100 and a year-over-year change percentage tell you how urgent and how warm this person is.

The Donor Journey chart

The Donor Journey section draws their giving year by year — uploaded history alongside this year's live giving — so trends jump out visually: the climb of an upgrading donor, the cliff of a lapsed one, the comeback of a returning one.

Everything else on the profile

  • Notes — your team's written context, with author and time.
  • Live Donations — every gift to this campaign: amount, payment method, status, and date. Refunded or otherwise uncounted items are shown but visually set apart so the list always reconciles with the This Year tile.
  • Call History — every Call Center attempt: outcome (Contacted, Voicemail, No Answer, and so on), duration, which session, and any note the caller left.
  • Sheet Appearances — each past-years record behind the profile: which upload, which year, what amount.
  • Imported Contacts — the contact-list rows that merged into this person, including the file name and any per-row note.
  • Ask & Pipeline — their stage, recorded asks with outcomes, and any open pledge with its progress.
  • Assignment — which team (and optionally which caller) owns this relationship; assigning a profile also makes it visible to that team.
  • Activity Timeline — calls, asks, pledges, and notes woven into one chronological story of the relationship.

Acting from the profile

Two buttons put the history to work: Send to Call Center queues the person for a call (when calling is enabled for your campaign), and Call Sheet PDF downloads a printable one-page summary — ideal for volunteers working a phone night from paper.

Tip: The Lifetime number can only be as complete as the history you've added. If long-time supporters show tiny lifetimes, it's a sign their past years haven't been uploaded yet — see "Adding past years' giving data."
Tip: If a profile ever seems to vanish while you're reading it, the directory was just refreshed behind the scenes — reopen it from the list; nothing was lost.
