How do I download donations to Excel?

One click: the Export button above your Donations table downloads a native Excel file (.xlsx) — no CSV conversion, no formatting cleanup. Every role that can view donations can export them.
Steps
- Open your campaign and go to Donations.
- (Optional) Apply filters first — status, team, payment method, date range, or a search. The export reflects what's currently shown in the table.
- Click Export.
- The file downloads as
CampaignName_donations_YYYY-MM-DD.xlsx.
What's inside
- Donations sheet — one row per gift with Donor Name, Email, Phone, Amount, Currency, Status, Payment Method, Payment Provider, Team Code, Dedication / Message, Anonymous (Yes/No), Donation Type, Transaction ID, matching details, Collected Amount (money actually in hand — recurring pledges show collected-to-date, unsuccessful rows show 0), Country, City, Notes, and Date. Political campaigns get additional compliance columns automatically.
- Summary by Team sheet — each team's donation count, total amount, and completed/pending breakdown.
Hebrew and other non-Latin names export correctly since it's a real Excel file.
Export vs Import
Next to Export you'll also find Import (owners and managers only) — that's for bringing donations in from a spreadsheet, and it has its own downloadable template.
Tip: Filter to a single team before exporting to hand a captain their own donor list without sharing everyone else's. For deeper reporting workflows, see Exporting your donation data.
