Can I pay by bank (ACH)?

Yes. Alongside cards, Pledgix invoices can be paid from a US bank account by ACH transfer. You save the bank account once, and it becomes your payment method on file.
Steps
- Open the Billing tab in your client portal.
- On the Card on file card, click Update (or Add card).
- In the dialog, switch to the Bank (ACH) tab.
- Enter the account holder name, your 9-digit routing number, and your account number (4–17 digits).
- Click Save bank account.
Your bank details go straight to the secure payment vault — Pledgix stores only the last few digits for display. Just like saving a card, saving a bank account immediately retries any open invoices that are billed to your saved payment method. (Pay-by-link invoices are never charged automatically — pay those from their View & Pay page.)
Good to know
- USD only — ACH works for invoices billed in US dollars.
- Settlement takes 1–4 business days, unlike cards which confirm instantly. Your invoice is marked paid as soon as the payment is accepted; the funds clear from your bank over the following days. If your bank later returns the transfer, the invoice reopens and we'll email you.
- One payment method is on file at a time — saving a bank account replaces a saved card, and vice versa.
Tip: ACH is a great fit for larger recurring invoices — no card expiry dates to babysit, and no card declines from bank fraud filters.
