Building your call list — from directory to dialing

A great phone night starts long before the first ring: it starts with who's on the list and in what order. The Profile Center gives you a ready-made ranking, plus three ways to hand the list to your callers.
The Call Next queue
Open your campaign, choose Donor Relations in the sidebar, then People, and open Call Next from its card on the Home tab. It opens as its own tab — a ranked "who to call" list built on one principle: call the biggest untouched opportunity first.
- Only people who haven't given this year are included.
- Never-called people come first, then by call priority, then by the size of the expected gift.
- People with no phone on file, numbers on a do-not-call list, and anyone you've parked as Not Now or marked Paid are excluded automatically.
Click any entry to open the full profile. To narrow the queue, click a Gift Pyramid band (majors first!) or apply a saved segment.
Sending people to the Call Center
If your campaign has the Call Center enabled, you can move any list from the Profile Center into a dialing session:
- The whole queue — in Call Next, click Send this queue to the Call Center.
- A hand-picked selection — in the people rail, tick checkboxes and click Push to Call Center in the blue bar.
- A segment — activate a segment chip and click Push segment to Call Center. Very large segments are capped at 2,000 people, biggest expected gifts taken first.
- A team's assigned list — push everyone assigned to one team in a single click.
- One person — open their profile and click Send to Call Center.
A dialog then asks where they should go:
- New dialing session — a fresh session containing just these people; name it if you like. A session created from a team's list can be owned by that team, so the team works it end-to-end.
- Quick Dial — the campaign's always-on calling list.
- An open session — append to a session that's already running; people already in it are skipped.
You can also set a recency fence — exclude anyone contacted in the last N days (1 to 90) — so a fresh push never re-dials someone a caller reached last week.
After the push, a summary reports how many leads went in and why the rest were skipped: no usable phone number, on a do-not-call list, already in this session, currently being worked in another live list, called too recently, or a duplicate. Do-not-call protection is enforced automatically and can't be bypassed.
Printing paper call sheets
Some of your best solicitors will never touch a dialer, and that's fine:
- One donor — open the profile and click Call Sheet PDF for a printable one-page summary.
- A stack — select people in the people rail and click Print sheets, or activate a segment and click Print call sheets. You get a single PDF, one page per person, biggest asks first, up to 200 pages. If the list was larger, the biggest asks are printed and you're told it was trimmed.
After the calls
Call outcomes flow back into the Profile Center automatically: the Calls column shows each person's attempt count and last result (Contacted, Voicemail, No Answer, and more), and the full call history appears on their profile. People who give drop out of the queue on their own — the list cleans itself.
Tip: Push by segment rather than by hand-picked selection whenever you can. A segment push skips anyone who has since donated, so the session your callers receive is accurate at the moment of the push — not the moment you built the list.
