Your first week on Pledgix: a checklist

You don't need a week to launch on Pledgix — but spreading setup over a few focused sessions makes for a stronger campaign. Here's a practical checklist, with the detailed guide for each step linked along the way.

Day 1 — Set up your account

  • Create your account with email or Google, and confirm your email if asked. (How to create your Pledgix account, Verifying your email address.)
  • Take the welcome tour. The five-step tour on your first sign-in points out My Campaigns, My Donations, Billing, and Help & Support — worth the sixty seconds.
  • Fill in your profile. Open Profile Settings from your account menu and check your name and details. (Managing your profile settings.)
  • Pick your language. The language selector in the top bar switches your whole portal. (Changing your language.)

Day 2 — Create your campaign

  • Select New Campaign on your Home screen and work through the wizard. Its first step asks you to pick a campaign model — Pledgix Go, Pledgix One (recommended and preselected), or Pledgix Pro. Go and One continue through the full five-step wizard (Model → Setup → Design → Goal & URL → Live); choosing Pro turns the wizard into a short request form that the Pledgix team follows up on.
  • Choose your web address carefully — the part after pledgix.com can be changed later by a campaign super-admin, but changing it after launch breaks any links you've already shared, so it's worth getting right now. (Anatomy of your campaign page.)
  • Set your goal, currency, and timeline. If you're not ready to announce, keep the page in a pre-launch state while you build.

Day 3 — Make the page yours

  • In Design & Media, upload a strong cover image — it becomes your hero banner and the preview image when your link is shared. (How your page looks when shared.)
  • Write your story: who you are, why you're raising, what the money does.
  • Add giving tiers and adjust the quick donation amounts to fit your audience (Pledgix One and above — Go campaigns use the platform's default preset amounts).
  • Click View Live after every change to see the page as visitors will.
Tip: Short of time or words? On Pledgix One and above, the design tools include AI helpers that can draft your about section and generate banner images from a description.

Day 4 — Get the money side ready

  • Open Payouts & Transactions and set up how you'll receive funds.
  • Upload any compliance documents the checklist asks for — doing this early prevents payout delays later. (Compliance documents: what to upload and why.)
  • Keep an eye on the notification bell: it opens the Messages from Pledgix panel, where chat messages from the Pledgix team — including compliance and payout updates — land per campaign. (Notifications on Pledgix.)

Day 5 — Bring in your people

  • Invite a co-organizer or helper through Campaign Settings → Client Portal Access. (Inviting your first teammates.)
  • If you'll fundraise in teams, set up your first teams and captains in Teams Management.
  • Ask each invitee to accept their email invitation and sign in once before launch day.

Day 6 — Share and test

  • Use the Share button on your public page — it builds a ready-to-post card with a scan-to-donate QR code. (Sharing your campaign.)
  • Paste your link into a private chat to check the social preview.
  • Make a small test donation yourself to experience the donor flow and see the receipt.

Day 7 — Learn the rhythm

  • Watch your Home dashboard: the Impact Overview, Revenue Trends, and Recent Donations feed update as gifts arrive. (A tour of your Pledgix dashboard.)
  • Skim the megaphone icon for product updates, and bookmark the Help Center in your account menu — search there first whenever you're stuck. (Getting help: the Help Center and creating a ticket.)
Tip: Nothing here is irreversible. Launch when the essentials are ready and keep polishing — pages can be edited live, and improving a running campaign beats perfecting an unlaunched one.
