Why can't a team member see donations?

This is by design. A Team Member can view donations — but only the ones credited to their own team. Donations attributed to other teams, or to the campaign in general with no team attached, are filtered out of their view. So if nothing has been credited to their team yet, their donations list looks empty even while the campaign is raising money.

Why it works this way

Donor information is sensitive. Team members are there to fundraise for their team, so their window is scoped to exactly that: their team's results. Campaign-wide donation lists, donor details, and exports are reserved for Managers and Campaign Admins.

What to check

  1. Confirm the person's role on the campaign — their role badge appears on the campaign tile in My Campaigns.
  2. If they should see everything, a Campaign Admin can grant them a Manager role in Client Portal Access (see How do I invite another manager?).
  3. If they should see their team's gifts but don't, verify the donations are actually credited to their team — donations made through the team's own share link are attributed automatically; manually recorded gifts need the team selected.
Tip: If you hold both a leadership and a team role, the Viewing as switch in the campaign header (up to three positions — Manager, Captain, Team) shows you exactly what your team members see — handy for confirming their view before they ask.

For the full breakdown of what each role can do, see Roles and permissions explained.
