Resetting your password

If you've forgotten your password — or simply want to change it — the reset flow takes just a couple of minutes.
Requesting a reset link
- On the sign-in page, select Forgot password?.
- Enter your Email address — the one you use to sign in.
- Select Send reset link.
- You'll see Check your inbox confirming the email is on its way.
For your security, this confirmation appears whether or not the address belongs to an account — Pledgix never reveals which emails are registered. If no email arrives, double-check that you entered the address you actually signed up with.
Setting your new password
- Open the reset email and click the link inside. It brings you to a secure page in your Pledgix dashboard.
- Enter your New password — at least 8 characters.
- Re-enter it to confirm, then submit.
- As soon as the new password is set, every device and browser where you were signed in is signed out automatically — including the one you're on. If you're resetting because you suspect someone else has access to your account, this eviction cuts them off immediately. Sign in with your new password and you're done.
Tip: Choose a password you don't use anywhere else. A password manager makes this painless.
"This reset link has expired"
Reset links are one-time and short-lived for security. If yours has expired or was already used:
- Go back to the sign-in page.
- Select Forgot password? and request a new link.
- Use the newest email — requesting a fresh link invalidates older ones.
Some corporate email systems "pre-click" links to scan them for safety, which can consume a one-time link before you open it. If this keeps happening, try requesting the link to a personal address, or contact support.
The reset email never arrives
- Check your spam/junk folder.
- Confirm you requested it for the exact address you registered with.
- If you originally signed up with Google, you may never have set a password. You can either keep signing in with Google, or use this same reset flow to create a password for your account — both will work afterwards.
Changing your password while signed in
There isn't a separate password field inside Profile Settings — the reset flow above is the way to change your password. Sign out (or open the sign-in page in another tab), select Forgot password?, and follow the steps. Your account and data are untouched; only the password changes — and, as above, all your signed-in devices are signed out automatically, so sign back in with the new password.
Still locked out?
If you've tried a fresh link and still can't get in, email our team at info@pledgix.com from the address on your account, and we'll help you recover access.
