What's New: following Pledgix product updates

Pledgix ships improvements all the time — new features, refinements, and fixes. The megaphone icon in your top navigation bar is where you hear about them, so you never miss something that could help your campaign.

The megaphone and the blue dot

Look for the megaphone icon in the top-right of your dashboard, next to the notification bell. When Pledgix publishes an update you haven't seen yet, a small blue dot appears on the icon. Unlike the notification bell, there's no number — the dot simply means "something new since your last visit."

Opening the panel marks everything as seen, and the dot disappears until the next update goes out.

Tip: The "seen" marker is remembered per browser, not per account. If you check Pledgix from both your laptop and your phone, the dot may reappear on the other device for the same update — that's expected.

Inside the What's New panel

Click the megaphone to open a compact panel showing the three most recent updates. Each entry displays:

  • The update's title and publish date.
  • A colored label telling you what kind of change it is:
  • NEW (green) — a brand-new feature.
  • IMPROVED (blue) — an existing feature made better.
  • FIXED (amber) — a bug fix.

Select any entry to open the full announcement in a new tab, so you can read the details without losing your place in the dashboard.

Browsing the full changelog

At the bottom of the panel, See all updates takes you to the complete What's New page on pledgix.com. There you can:

  • Filter updates by label (New, Improved, Fixed) or by product area.
  • Scan the month-by-month timeline along the side to jump to a specific period.
  • Select load more to keep scrolling back through older announcements.

The full page is public, so you can share a specific announcement with teammates — each update has its own web address.

Why it's worth a glance

Product updates often unlock things you've been waiting for: a new design option for your page, a faster way to manage donations, or a fix for something that was bothering you. A ten-second check when you see the blue dot keeps you current.

Updates also connect back to the community's requests. When a feature that was suggested on the Feedback & Roadmap board ships, the roadmap's Shipped section links to its What's New announcement — so you can follow an idea from suggestion to release. See Suggesting features and voting on the roadmap for how that works.

What's New vs. the notification bell

These two icons serve different purposes:

  • The megaphone is about the platform — announcements that apply to everyone.
  • The bell is about your campaigns — compliance messages from the Pledgix team that may need your response.

A blue dot on the megaphone never requires action; a red badge on the bell usually does. See The notification bell for details on that side.

Tip: If you're curious whether a feature you need has shipped recently, the What's New page's filters are faster than asking support — filter by NEW and skim the titles.
