Upgrading from Go to One

A Pledgix Go campaign can upgrade itself to Pledgix One at any time — no request, no waiting. The upgrade is a big deal for your campaign, so read this before you confirm.
Where to find it
Open Campaign Settings → General. On a Go campaign you'll see the Upgrade to Pledgix One card. You'll also meet the same upgrade dialog wherever a One feature shows a quiet "Pledgix One" chip — for example on the Analytics entry, the recurring donations card, or the Tiers and Sponsors tabs in Design & Media. Every one of those opens the identical dialog, so you can upgrade from wherever you are.
Only owner-level users (campaign owners and managers) can upgrade. Captains and team members see the locked state but can't change the plan.
What unlocks
Upgrading turns on the One toolkit for this campaign, including:
- Recurring donations
- Analytics dashboards, reports, and exports
- Goal celebration and the Finale Share Kit
- Team messaging (donation alerts) and team bulk import
- Donation tiers, sponsor showcases, and the AI design and story tools
- The free shared phone line option for call-in donations
And donors are no longer asked to add a tip at checkout — the tip is a Go-only mechanism and stops automatically the moment you upgrade.
What it costs — read this carefully
On Pledgix One, a platform fee applies to donations. The rate is shown live in the upgrade dialog itself (and on the pricing page), so you always see the exact number before confirming.
The fee is retroactive. When you upgrade, the One rate applies to your entire campaign — including every donation you already raised while on Go. Your existing donations are re-priced at the One rate at the moment of upgrade. You cannot raise funds free on Go and switch to One at the finish line.
It's permanent
There is no downgrade back to Go, and no self-serve switch to any other model. The dialog asks you to confirm twice — the price and the retroactive fee are shown on both steps — and to re-accept the Pledgix One Terms & Conditions. Your acceptance is recorded.
What doesn't come back
Go trims certain content at save time — extra gallery photos beyond the first, campaign video, story translations, and the bonus goal. Upgrading restores the capability to use those features, but any content that was removed while on Go is not restored automatically. You'll add your video, translations, and bonus goal fresh after upgrading.
After you upgrade
Your features unlock immediately — the settings page, navigation, and public page all refresh to the One feature set. Payments and payouts are untouched: Go and One share the same platform umbrella, so nothing changes about how money moves or how donors get receipts.
Tip: Not sure whether the timing is right? The fee math matters most if you've already raised a lot on Go. If you know you'll want One's tools, upgrading early keeps the retroactive portion small.
