You can create a new campaign directly from your Pledgix portal in just a few steps. The wizard has five steps for the self-serve models (Pledgix Go and Pledgix One), both of which launch instantly with no approval required.

Open the campaign wizard

  1. Go to My Campaigns in your portal.
  2. Click New Campaign in the top-right corner, or select the Create New Campaign tile in your campaign grid.

Step 1: Choose your campaign model

The wizard first asks you to select the model that fits your fundraising needs:

  • Pledgix Go — Completely free with a 0% platform fee, under the Pledgix 501(c)(3) nonprofit umbrella. Donors are asked to add an optional tip to support the platform. A single simple page with the essentials; growth tools like analytics, recurring donations, and AI studios are not included. You can upgrade to One later.
  • Pledgix One (recommended, preselected) — Launches in seconds like Go, plus the tools that grow a campaign: team leaderboards, analytics and reports, recurring donations, donation tiers, and AI design and story tools. The platform fee is the current Pledgix One rate, shown right in the wizard and on the pricing page.
  • Pledgix Pro — For large organizations that process donations on their own payment gateway, with the full marketing engine, live event mode, and advanced controls. Requires a review by our team — see Requesting a Pro campaign.

Select Go or One and click Continue.

Step 2: Campaign setup

  1. Enter your Campaign Name (at least 2 characters) — for example, "Annual Gala 2025".
  2. Optionally upload a Campaign Logo. Drag and drop or click to upload a PNG, JPEG, WEBP, or SVG file up to 5 MB.
  3. Optionally add Supporting Documents (PDF, PNG, or JPEG, up to 25 MB each).
Tip: Supporting documents are optional at this stage, but they are required before you can withdraw funds to your bank. Uploading them now saves time later.

Step 3: Design your page

Everything on this step is optional — your page launches beautiful by default, and it can all be designed later:

  1. Write a Campaign Story — a few honest paragraphs about what you're raising for and who it helps.
  2. Pick the language you're writing in. It becomes your page's main language, and you can add translations later (translations are a Pledgix One feature).
  3. Choose a Brand Color for your public page, or leave it on Automatic.

Step 4: Goal & custom URL

  1. Enter your Fundraising Goal and choose a currency (USD, EUR, GBP, ILS, CAD, or RUB). This currency becomes your campaign's base currency — all totals and progress will be shown in it.
  2. Set your Campaign URL. This is your campaign's unique web address at pledgix.com/your-url. The wizard suggests one based on your campaign name, and checks availability as you type:
  • Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only (for example, "annual-gala-2025").
  • It must be 3–60 characters and start and end with a letter or number.
  • A green check means "This URL is available — great choice!" A red mark means the address is taken or reserved.
  1. Add your Phone Number. This is required — a member of the Pledgix team gives every new campaign owner a personal call to help with setup. It's prefilled from your account, and you can use a different number just for this campaign. It's never shown publicly.
  2. Check the box to confirm you have read and agree to the Pledgix One Terms & Conditions, including the fiscal-sponsorship, reserve, and fund-use rules. This is required to launch (both Go and One campaigns run under the same umbrella terms).
Choose your URL wisely — it will appear on everything you share and print, and it can't be casually changed after launch (only a Campaign Admin can change it later, which breaks every link already shared).

Step 5: You're live!

Click Launch Campaign. The wizard creates your campaign and uploads your logo and documents. When it finishes, you'll see the "Your campaign is live!" screen where you can:

  • Copy link — copy your public campaign address to share right away.
  • Open Campaign Page — view your live page in a new tab.
  • Go to Dashboard — jump straight into your new campaign's management workspace.

Your campaign is immediately open for donations. From the campaign dashboard you can now build your story, add media, create teams, and track results.
