The Link Center — tracking links for every blast

What the Link Center does
Every place you promote your campaign — an email blast, a WhatsApp group, a printed poster — can get its own marketing link. When donors arrive through that link, Pledgix records the click and, if they give, attributes the donation to it. The result is a simple answer to the question every organizer asks: which outreach actually raised money?
Open your campaign dashboard and go to Marketing & Outreach → Link Center.
The Link Center is available on Pledgix Pro and Political plans, and the Links channel itself is switched on by the Pledgix team — if you see a locked card, contact support to have it enabled for your campaign.
Creating a link
Click Create link. Each link has:
- Name — a label for your own reference, like "JDN Email Blast #3".
- Source — where the link will be posted (e.g. email, whatsapp, jdn). A Pick a source chip row offers common presets.
- Medium (optional) — Email, SMS, Social, WhatsApp, Print, Poster, Referral, or Other.
- Campaign tag (optional) — pre-filled with your campaign's web address slug.
- Team page (optional) — point the link at a specific team's page instead of the main campaign page.
- Notes (optional).
A Link preview shows the finished URL. Copy it with the copy button on the link's row and use it anywhere.
Tip: Create one link per blast, not one per channel. "Email — March appeal" and "Email — final push" as separate links tells you which message worked, not just which channel.
Source, medium, and campaign tag are locked after creation so your stats stay honest — to change them, archive the link and create a new one. Links are never deleted, only archived (an archived link still lands donors safely on your campaign page, untracked).
Reading the numbers
The overview shows a funnel for the selected window (7 / 30 / 90 days or all time): Clicks → Visitors → Donations → Raised → Conversion, plus a daily clicks chart and a table with each link's Clicks, Donations, Raised, and Conv. % (donations per unique visitor). Click any row to drill into that link: daily activity, time-of-day and day-of-week patterns, where clicks came from (countries, cities, and the sites the link was posted on), recent clicks, and the donations attributed to it.
Attribution is last-touch with a seven-day window — a donor who clicks your link on Monday and comes back to give on Wednesday still counts. Donations that arrive with no link show up as a separate "untracked" bucket, so nothing is silently missing.
Using a link in an email blast
When you send a team email blast from the Email Studio, a Tracking link card lets you pick one of your Link Center links. Pledgix then swaps the Donation URL variable in your email for the tracked link, and stamps the same tracking onto every Team URL — so clicks and donations from that blast all attribute to the link you chose, whether recipients hit the main page or a team page.
Tip: For SMS and WhatsApp blasts, paste the tracked URL from the Link Center directly into your message body.
