The campaign flipbook

A real book on your page

If your organization produces a journal, dinner book, brochure, or annual — the Flipbook puts it on your campaign page as an interactive, page-turning book. Visitors flip through it with a realistic page-turn animation, zoom in, jump between chapters, go fullscreen, and — because it lives on your campaign page — donate without ever leaving the book.

The flipbook appears as its own band on your public page, below the main content and story, with your book title centered above it.

Building it in the Flipbook Studio

Open Design & Media → Flipbook in your campaign dashboard. You upload a single PDF (up to 80 MB), and the studio converts it — right in your browser — into crisp page images sized for the web. Those page images are what your public page serves, so the book loads fast and looks sharp on any device. Books are capped at 60 pages; a longer PDF keeps its first 60 and the studio tells you it was trimmed.

From there you can shape the reading experience:

  • Title — shown above the book on your page.
  • Table of contents — up to 24 chapter entries, each jumping to a page.
  • Look — background (paper, ink, accent wash, or a custom color), accent color (inherits your campaign color by default), page shadow depth, rounded or sharp corners, hard cover, and your logo.
  • Behavior — reading direction (including right-to-left for Hebrew books), flip speed, optional auto-flip, page-turn sound, zoom, fullscreen, and a thumbnail rail.
  • Download button — optionally let visitors download the original PDF (available when your source PDF is 40 MB or smaller).
  • Donate call-to-action — a donate button inside the viewer, so the book itself asks.

An enable switch lets you keep a book saved but hidden. To update the content, use Replace and upload a new PDF — all your styling choices carry over. Page order always follows the PDF, so get the order right in your source document.

What visitors see

The band renders as a static cover first (so the page stays fast), then the full interactive viewer takes over: flip, zoom, thumbnails, contents panel, autoplay, fullscreen, and the donate button. If a visitor opens the donate button from fullscreen, the book gracefully steps aside so the donation form is front and center.

The flipbook only shows once it's enabled and has at least one page — an empty or disabled book leaves no trace on your page.

Plan availability

The Flipbook is available on Pledgix Pro and Political plans (the Pledgix team can enable it for other campaigns on request).

Tip: Flipbooks shine for dinner journals and ad books — every ad your sponsors bought gets seen by your whole online audience, not just the people in the room. Add a table-of-contents entry per section so sponsors can find their page in two taps.
