Tehillim campaigns
Last updated 3 min read
A Tehillim campaign is a free shared-reading page: one link splits the whole Sefer Tehillim among everyone who opens it. It's not a fundraising page — no donations, no goal amounts in dollars — just an organized way for a community to complete books of Tehillim together for someone.
Where to find it
Open your account menu in the dash portal and choose Tehillim. That page is where you create and manage your Tehillim campaigns — it's separate from your fundraising campaigns list.
There's also a public hub at pledgix.com/tehillim where visitors can discover publicly listed campaigns, and each campaign gets its own public page at its own address under /tehillim. For the full public explanation of how everything works — worth sharing with anyone curious — see the guide at pledgix.com/tehillim/guide.
Creating a campaign
Creating is a short guided setup that teaches each choice as you make it:
- Who is this for? Pick the dedication type — Refuah (recovery), Zivug (shidduch), Iluy Nishmat (memory), Hatzlacha (success), or Other — and enter the dedication name. The name becomes the headline of the page.
- Tell the story. Optionally add a few words and choose the page's primary language (Hebrew, Yiddish, English, Russian, Spanish, or French) — every visitor can switch to their own.
- Set a goal. Optionally set a goal in books (one book = all 150 perakim), count in a head start of books already completed, and choose whether to list the campaign publicly on the Tehillim hub. Unlisted campaigns are reachable only by their link.
- Review and create. Your page is live immediately.
Right after creating, the share step hands you everything to spread the word: the share link, a WhatsApp share, a ready-made share banner image, and an optional page banner image upload.
How the reading works
- Every visitor who opens your page receives a perek to say, right on the page — the text is displayed in a beautiful reader, so no sefer is needed.
- When they finish, they tap "I finished" and the perek is counted. If someone takes a perek and doesn't finish, the hold recycles after about 20 minutes so no perek stays stuck.
- When all 150 perakim have been said, a book is complete — the page fills with gold, the book counts toward your goal, and the next book begins.
Visitors can read the page in their own language (their choice is remembered on their device), while the perakim themselves are, of course, always the original text. The page opens in a bright daylight design by default; a small toggle in the top bar switches to the navy night design, and that choice is remembered too.
Managing your campaign
Each campaign on your Tehillim page has a Manage panel where you can:
- Edit the dedication, description, goal, and public listing
- Upload a banner image for the page
- Moderate recent readers — you can remove a name from the public list; the perek they said stays counted
- Close the campaign when the occasion passes, or reopen it later
- Copy the share link
Your dashboard totals show books completed and perakim said across all your campaigns.
Tip: Tehillim campaigns are completely free for everyone, always — there is no fee, no tip, and no plan requirement.
