Suggesting features and voting on the roadmap

Pledgix is shaped by the people who use it. The Feedback & Roadmap board lets you propose features, vote for ideas you care about, and watch them progress from "under review" all the way to shipped.
Opening the board
Click your account menu (your initials, top-right) and choose Feedback & Roadmap. The board opens right inside your portal.
Reading the board
Ideas are organized into columns by where they stand:
- Under Review — the Pledgix team is evaluating the idea.
- Planned — accepted and scheduled for a future release.
- In Progress — actively being built.
Below the columns, a Shipped section celebrates ideas that have been released. Each shipped item includes a Read the update link that opens the matching announcement on the What's New changelog, so you can see exactly what was built.
Voting for ideas
Every idea shows its vote count. Voting is how you tell the team what matters most:
- Click the vote button to add your vote; click it again to take it back.
- You get one vote per idea — votes can't be stacked.
- Shipped and declined ideas can't be voted on — their story is already written.
Tip: Before suggesting something new, search the board for it first. Adding your vote to an existing idea carries more weight than creating a near-duplicate, because votes concentrate instead of splitting.
Suggesting a feature
- On the board, select Suggest a feature.
- Give your idea a clear title — at least 4 characters, up to 200. Make it specific: "Export donor list as a spreadsheet" beats "Better exports."
- Optionally add details (up to 5,000 characters): the problem you're trying to solve, who it affects, and how you'd imagine it working.
- Submit. You'll see: "Thank you! Your suggestion will appear on the roadmap after review."
New suggestions go through a short moderation review before appearing publicly — this keeps the board free of spam and duplicates. Your own vote is automatically counted on your idea from the moment you submit it.
Tip: Describe the problem more than the solution. "Our event volunteers can't see donation totals on their phones during the dinner" gives the team far more to work with than "add a mobile mode."
Tracking your submissions
The My submissions view lists every idea you've proposed, each with a status chip:
- Pending review — waiting for moderation; not yet visible to others.
- Under review / Planned / In Progress — moving through the board columns.
- Shipped — released; check What's New for the announcement.
- Declined — the team decided not to pursue it for now.
Statuses update as the team triages, so checking back periodically is the best way to follow your idea's journey.
The public roadmap
A read-only version of the board also lives on pledgix.com, where anyone — signed in or not — can browse what's coming and submit a suggestion (with a quick security check). Voting, however, requires signing in to your portal's Feedback & Roadmap page, so every vote is tied to a real account.
Feedback vs. support
The roadmap is for ideas about the product. If something is broken, or you need help with your specific campaign or account, use the Help Center instead — support tickets get a direct response from the team, while roadmap suggestions are gathered and prioritized over time. See Getting help: the Help Center and support tickets.
