The three-step wizard

Open Marketing & Outreach → Robocalls. The Voice Broadcast wizard has three steps: Message, Recipients, and Launch.

Step 1: Your message

Choose a Message Source:

  • Record in Browser — the default. Record straight from your microphone, listen back, and re-record until it's right. No files, no studio.
  • Upload Audio — an MP3 or WAV from your computer, if you've produced the message elsewhere.
  • Audio URL — link to an already-hosted MP3 or WAV.
  • Text-to-Speech — type a script and pick from dozens of natural-sounding voices across many languages and accents, including English (US, UK, Australian, Indian), Spanish, French, German, Hebrew, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Dutch. Voices marked with a star are the newest, most natural generation.
Tip: Keep the message under 30 seconds and say who you are in the first sentence. Answered calls that open with a clear identity are listened to far more often.

At the end of your message, recipients automatically hear a short menu: press 1 to replay the message, press 7 to unsubscribe from future calls. Unsubscribes go straight onto your campaign's Do Not Call list — no action needed from you.

Step 2: Recipients

Two input methods:

  • Upload Excel — a spreadsheet (.xlsx, .xls, or .csv, up to 50 MB and 20,000 rows). The phone column is detected automatically and a preview shows row counts and sample numbers. See Uploading recipient lists from Excel or CSV.
  • Manual Entry — type or paste numbers, one per line or comma-separated.

Set the Default Region so numbers without a country prefix are interpreted correctly (for example, US or Israel). Full validation and Do Not Call screening run automatically at launch.

Step 3: Review and launch

The launch screen shows Recipients Ready to Dial with a count and sample numbers, then lets you set:

  • Call Rate — 5 to 30 calls per second, with an estimated total duration for your list size.
  • Timing — Start Now or Schedule for a specific date and time.

Calling hours are strictly enforced: broadcasts only dial between 9 AM and 8 PM in your campaign's time zone. If you hit Start Now outside that window, the launch is blocked — schedule it for a compliant time instead. (A small badge shows whether the standard window applies to your campaign.) One thing the window can't do for you: if your list includes people in other time zones, the platform doesn't adjust per recipient — pick a launch time that also lands inside their local calling hours.

Click Launch Broadcast (or Schedule Broadcast) and confirm. As the dialog warns: once started, calls cannot be recalled — so double-check the recipient count and give your message one last listen.

While it runs

The live progress panel tracks every call: Completed (answered), Machine (voicemail detected), No Answer, Failed, DNC Scrubbed, and Skipped, with an overall progress bar. You can Pause the broadcast (in-progress calls finish, no new ones start), Resume later, or Cancel the remainder entirely.

Past broadcasts live under History, and your campaign's blocked numbers are managed under DNC — see Do Not Call and opt-out management.
