Quick Amounts: suggested donation buttons

When a donor opens your donation form, they see a row of one-tap amount buttons before the custom-amount box. These are your Quick Amounts — and the numbers you choose quietly shape how much people give.

Where to set them

  1. Open your campaign and go to Campaign Settings → Fundraising.
  2. Find the Quick Amounts section to open Quick Donation Amounts.
Note: Custom quick amounts aren't available on Pledgix Go — Go campaigns always show the standard platform presets, and the settings card doesn't appear. Upgrading to Pledgix One unlocks it.

The defaults

Every campaign starts with six suggestions: 18, 36, 54, 72, 108, and 180 — the traditional multiples of chai familiar to many donors. If those suit your audience, you don't have to change a thing.

Customizing your amounts

Each amount is an editable field:

  • Change a value — type over any amount. Every amount must be greater than zero.
  • Add an amount — click Add another amount. You can offer up to 10 suggestions.
  • Remove an amount — delete any suggestion you don't want. You can even remove them all, leaving donors just the custom-amount box.
  • Label an amount (optional) — give a button a short caption so the number carries meaning.

A preview shows your buttons as donors will see them — every amount as a tappable pill — so you can sanity-check the lineup before saving. Changes take effect on your public page right away.

The same set of amounts is shown to all donors, whichever currency they choose to give in — so pick round, meaningful numbers that read well universally.

Choosing amounts that work

Donors anchor on the options you show them. A few patterns that consistently perform:

  • Lead with your target gift, not your minimum. If your typical donation is $54, don't make $18 the star — donors gravitate to the middle and lower options they see first.
  • Create a clear ladder. Amounts that roughly double (36 → 72 → 180 → 360) give donors an easy "one step up" to consider.
  • Include one stretch option. A high top amount makes the second-highest feel reasonable — even if few people tap the top button, it lifts everyone else.
  • Match your community's vocabulary. Multiples of 18 resonate in Jewish giving; round hundreds may suit other audiences. There's no single right answer — there's the right answer for your donors.
Tip: Quick Amounts and donation tiers play different roles. Tiers are named, meaningful giving levels displayed on your page (Amud HaYeshiva — $1,000); Quick Amounts are the plain buttons inside the donation form for donors who didn't pick a tier. Set both: tiers to inspire, quick amounts to reduce friction. (See Donation tiers: creating giving levels.)
Tip: Revisit your amounts mid-campaign. If your analytics show most gifts landing on your lowest button, your suggestions may be anchoring donors too low — try removing the smallest amount and adding a higher rung. (See Understanding your campaign analytics.)

Good to know

  • Donors can always type a custom amount — Quick Amounts are suggestions, never limits.
  • You can have at most ten amounts; each must be a positive number.
  • Updating Quick Amounts never affects donations already made.
