Meet Donor Relations

Donor Relations is the one place in your campaign dashboard for working your donors — researching them and calling them. It merges what used to be two separate sections (Donor Profiles and the Call Center) into a single destination with two wings.

The two wings

Open Donor Relations in the campaign sidebar and you'll find a People / Call Center switch — in the campaign header on large screens, in a slim bar at the top on smaller ones:

  • People — the Profile Center workspace: donor profiles, giving history, and the research tools for planning your outreach.
  • Call Center — the calling hub: call lists (sessions), the dialer, follow-ups, and calling analytics.

Both wings share the same data spine, so a donor you research in People is the same person your volunteers reach in the Call Center.

A red badge on the Call Center side of the switch counts overdue callbacks — promised return calls whose time has passed — so managers see at a glance when the queue needs attention.

Who sees what

The two wings have different audiences, and Pledgix shows each person only the wing (and depth) their role allows:

  • Managers see both wings in full — every profile, every list, every analytic.
  • Captains and team members get the same People workspace scoped to their world: they see it only when donor profiles have been assigned to their team, and manager-only surfaces are hidden.
  • Callers — volunteers invited just to make calls — never see People at all. They land directly in the Call Center, restricted to the call lists assigned to them. See The Caller role for Call Center volunteers.

When only one wing is visible to you, the switch disappears and that wing simply fills the page.

Availability

The Call Center wing appears when the call center is enabled for your campaign — it's part of the Pro toolset, and the Pledgix team can switch it on for other campaigns on request. The People wing rides the donor-profiles feature, likewise a Pro-level default. If you see the section but a wing shows a locked message, the feature just isn't enabled for this campaign yet — see Why don't I see a feature?

Old links still work

If you bookmarked the old Call Center tab or the old Profiles page, don't worry — those addresses redirect to the right wing of Donor Relations automatically, forever. Deep links into a wing you can't see switch you to the wing you can.

Tip: Inside the Call Center wing, your spot is kept in the address bar — you can bookmark a specific tab (say, Follow-ups) and land straight on it next time.
