How do I remove a team?

You can delete a team from the Teams panel using the trash icon on its row. Before you do, understand what happens to its donations: they are not deleted — they remain in your campaign and its totals — but they lose their team attribution and become unassigned.

Steps

1. Open your campaign and go to the Teams section.
2. Find the team and click its Delete (trash) icon.
3. Confirm the Delete "team name"? prompt. You can also select several teams and delete them together — bulk deletion warns "This action cannot be undone."
4. You'll see a "Team deleted" confirmation.

What happens to the team's donations

Every donation credited to the deleted team stays in your donations list and campaign total, but its team field is cleared. If you want those gifts credited to another team instead, reassign them before deleting: edit each donation's Team Assignment field (see How do I move a donation to a different team?).

Consider hiding instead

If the team just shouldn't appear publicly (a duplicate, a placeholder, a dropout), open Edit Team and switch off Team Visibility — the team disappears from your public page but keeps its donation history intact.

Tip: Deletion can't be undone and orphaned donations can be tedious to re-credit one by one — when in doubt, hide the team rather than deleting it.
