Yes — you can reopen a campaign after its end date has passed. Use the Campaign Extension feature in your timeline settings: it puts your page into an "Extended" phase that accepts late donations until the date you choose.
Steps
- Open your campaign and go to Settings → Timeline & Scheduling.
- Turn on Enable Campaign Extension ("Allow late donations after the official end date").
- Set the Extended Until date and time. It must be later than your campaign's end date.
- (Optional) Check Show ticking countdown timer during extension to display a countdown on your public page.
- Save. Your page immediately shows as extended and the donate button is active again.
A few things to know
- Both Campaign Admins and Managers can change timeline dates, so whoever runs the campaign day to day can set up the extension.
- If you'd rather extend before the deadline hits, you can also simply push the Campaign End date later in the same tab.
- Once the extended date passes, the campaign moves to its ended state again.
Tip: An extension window of 24–72 hours right after your deadline is a proven way to capture "I meant to give" donors — announce it by email and SMS the morning after. For how phases like Live, Extended, and Ended work, see Campaign statuses and lifecycle.
