How do I connect my own domain?

You can serve your campaign from a domain you own — yourcampaign.org, or a subdomain like donate.yourorg.org. Custom domains are set up together with the Pledgix team: you own the DNS, we attach and verify the domain.

Steps

  1. Contact us with the domain or subdomain you want (via Help & Support or your Pledgix contact). We attach it to your campaign — each domain serves exactly one campaign.
  2. Add one DNS record at your registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, etc.):
  • Bare domain: an A record at @ pointing to 76.76.21.21
  • Subdomain: a CNAME pointing to cname.vercel-dns.com
  1. We verify. Once the record is live, verification completes and your HTTPS certificate is issued automatically — nothing to buy or install.

Not the DNS person? We can email the exact instructions straight to your IT contact — just tell us who.

What you get

  • Your page loads at your domain; share links and QR codes switch to it automatically.
  • Connecting a bare domain or www gets you both — the other variant redirects automatically.
  • Your pledgix.com address keeps working, so no existing link breaks.
Tip: DNS changes usually take effect within minutes but can take a few hours to propagate — if verification doesn't complete right away, give it a little time.
