How do I change my password?

Password changes on Pledgix go through the email reset flow. There's no "change password" field inside your Profile Settings — instead, you request a reset link from the sign-in page, which works whether you've forgotten your password or simply want a new one.

Steps

  1. Go to the dashboard sign-in page (sign out first if you're logged in, via your account menu).
  2. Click Forgot password?.
  3. On the "Reset your password" screen, enter your email address and click Send reset link.
  4. Check your inbox — you'll see "Check your inbox" on screen once it's sent. Open the email and click the link.
  5. Choose your new password on the reset page, then sign in with it.

Setting a new password automatically signs you out of every device and browser where you were signed in — you then sign in fresh with the new password. That means a lost or shared device can't keep using your old session.

If the email doesn't arrive

  • Check spam/promotions folders.
  • Confirm you entered the exact email you sign in with — for security, the screen shows success even for unknown addresses.
  • Requests are rate-limited (a handful per 10 minutes), so wait a few minutes before retrying.
  • Reset links are single-use and expire; always use the newest email.
Tip: New team members invited to a campaign set their first password through this same mechanism — the invite email's link takes them straight to password setup. For the full walkthrough and troubleshooting, see Resetting your password.
