Can I unpublish my page temporarily?

Yes, your page can be taken offline temporarily — but honestly stated: you can't flip that switch yourself. Campaign status and visibility (publishing, unpublishing, pausing, and whether donations are enabled) are managed at the platform level by the Pledgix team, so they don't appear in your campaign settings. This protects live campaigns from accidental takedowns that would break every shared link, QR code, and donation in progress.

How to request it

  1. Open Help & Support in your account menu and click Create a support ticket (or message your Pledgix contact directly).
  2. Say which campaign you mean and what you need — for example, "hide the page for two weeks" or "pause donations but keep the page visible."
  3. The team makes the change and confirms. When you're ready to go live again, the same request in reverse restores everything — your donation history, analytics, and URL are all preserved.

Alternatives worth considering

  • Pause donations only — the page stays up as a record of what you raised, but the donate flow is switched off.
  • Let the campaign end naturally — an ended campaign keeps its page and history without accepting new donations.
Tip: Unpublishing breaks every link and QR code already in circulation while it's down. If your concern is just the story or images being outdated, editing the page (which you can do yourself, any time) is usually the better fix.
